Patrick has served churches across Alabama and around the world. He provides teaching, leadership, and guidance for the church as a whole. Patrick is passionate about sharing the Gospel and bringing others to Christ. He is a graduate of Birmingham-Southern College and Candler School of Theology at Emory University in Atlanta. Patrick and his wife Hannah, a professor of church history, are crazy about their twin boys, Clint and Sam. He loves to play drums and explore God’s creation.

Ben is a native of Sylacauga, AL, a graduate of the University of Alabama, a graphic designer by trade, a husband, a father, a life-long United Methodist, and a believer in Christ! Ben leads in the worship arts by encouraging others to worship! On staff since Cahaba Bend's beginning, Ben guided the worship team from the simplicity of praise choruses accompanied by acoustic guitar in the pastor's living room to current Sunday mornings with a full band and a variety of opportunities for engaging in worship. His goal is to provide a comfortable atmosphere in which people encounter Christ.

Brenda grew up in small towns across Alabama as the daughter of a United Methodist minister and graduated from Huntingdon College before moving to Birmingham. She has been a volunteer in Children’s Ministry since she and her family joined CCB in 2005. She worked for CCB as the Church Administrator and Financial Secretary until she felt God nudging her towards a position of leadership with the Children’s ministry area in 2014. She loves working with the children here at Cahaba Bend and knows that her success as a leader is rooted in a strong volunteer base.

Dale and Stephanie are doing a stellar job leading our Jr. and Sr. High Youth. They are passionate about sharing their faith and mentoring our youth in their walk with Jesus. Dale is also an assistant principal at Helena High during the week. He has served many years with Shelby County Schools as a teacher and department chair at Helena High and as an administrative assistant at Chelsea High. They have three beautiful children: Sara, Abbey Kate and John Mark.

Jenny has been a part of the Day School since it opened in 2008. First as a parent, then as a Board Member, next as a Teacher and currently as the Director. She has served in this role since 2016. Jenny grew up in Homewood and graduated from the University of Montevallo. She is married to Dustin Strickland and they have 3 sons: Jacob, Dylan and Riley. She strives for a positive and welcoming environment for all staff and students. Her goal is to help create a preschool experience that is as creative, educational and memorable as possible!
