Being the Church in the world is vital to being a whole-hearted follower of Christ. When we show others Christ's love through our actions, we are part of Christ's Kingdom on earth. As part of the United Methodist Church, a portion of every dollar given to Cahaba Bend goes to those in need in our nation and around the world. The Church at Cahaba Bend sends mission teams for local needs (tornado relief, hurricane relief, etc.), to Birmingham-based missions such as Urban Ministries, and we support international missions like Costa Rica Mission Projects. We also have a new, thriving Outreach Team helping those in need within the Shelby County area.
