The CCB Booster Club is for all CCB members and regular attenders. Its purpose is to show support for the children and youth of CCB through attendance at various activities in which they are involved. Parents, please send us your children’s events/team schedules (games, plays, concerts, etc.) and we will get them on the calendar. To add an event, visit or drop your information in the “fish bowl” container located at the entrance to the sanctuary. Event scheduling announcements will be made on an ongoing basis as the calendar develops.

Men’s Ministry Breakfast
The Men’s Ministry group meets every second Sunday at 8 a.m. for a Bible study and biscuit breakfast. For more information, contact Lee Gladden at

Nursing Home Music & Ministry
On the third Sunday of each month (with rare exception), from 2:00–3:00 p.m., several joyful CCB voices converge upon one of our nearby assisted living facilities to brighten the day of residents and join them in the singing of favorite hymns. Pastor Keith carries his guitar along and facilitates this always-makes-everyone-feel-better time. Listen and watch for announcements of the location of the month. Need more info? Call or text Keith at 615-496-8115. The more the merrier!

Sunday Morning Prayer Huddle
The Sunday Morning Prayer Huddle meets each week, from 8:30-–9:00 a.m., at CCB. Chris and Susan Blumstein lead this special group in prayers for the church’s ministry and witness in the world. We realize that there are many needs both inside and outside of our church — needs for healing, direction, jobs, etc., but this group is focused on our spiritual mandates to become more like Christ, to identify our own spiritual gifts and call forth the gifts in others, and to bring others to Christ. For more information, contact Chris at 205-617-0804 or Susan at 205-617-0508.

Mission Opportunity — Oak Mountain Missions Ministries
Oak Mountain Missions Ministries, one of CCB’s ministry partners, supplies more than 500 jars of peanut butter to those in need each month, making it a pantry staple that needs to be replenished regularly. They also need jelly. If each household in the CCB family donated just one jar per month, we would provide more than 20 percent of their peanut butter needs on a monthly basis. Can you help? Donations can be placed in the wicker basket in the lobby.

Fundraiser for Oak Mountain Mission Ministry
Oak Mountain Mission Ministry and CCB have shared in a partnership ministry for a number of years, and now there is a way to help them raise funds just by shopping for the things we purchase anyway. Through a program called AmazonSmile (made available by the Amazon Smile Foundation), every purchase you make at will result in a donation of half of 1.0% of your purchase to Oak Mountain Mission Ministry. To shop, visit online. Sign in to your existing Amazon account, or create one if you don’t already have one. Search in the list of charities for Oak Mountain Mission Ministries, and begin shopping. Eligible products will be marked “Eligible for AmazonSmile Donation” on the product detail page. For more information, contact Cliff Dreyfus via email at or via phone at 205-663-6128.

CCB Community Outreach Group
The CCB Community Outreach Group continues to serve our community through a variety of service projects. For more information, contact Ali White at or at 205-500-2674.
